    Channel Fowarder to Usb App

Hello. I'm trying to get a channel fowarder or channel that directs to the usb drive. I have yabause wii and wiisx located on my 2TB WD Hard Drive. I'm trying to get a channel that points to these applications, the only ones I can find point to the sd:/apps instead of usb:/apps. Can anyone help me with this?

My fuzzy memory conjures the term, "Loadstructor," which I believe somewhere on this site you'd find a guide on it... I think it applies more to ISOs, but it may (or may not) work.

By using my Devining Rod (or, a tool available to us Mods that lets us spy on everyone --- isn't that right, Cjizzle?) I see this as an option. All credit to cjizzle, I simply saw'em eyeballing it

    LMAO

Actually I though both of those were just for Wii Games but I wasnt certain (and still am not 100%). I did manage to track down something called Simple Channel Forwarder Creator. It is pretty well self explanatory how it works. It will create a simple banner, icon, dol, and a wad file to install. Download HERE. (Finding the download itself took awhile because it was originally hosted on megaupload. Finally found it, snagged it, and uploaded to my mediafire )

EDIT: OOOOOOOPS, that was the source dangit...Looks like I will keep searching lol

Fixed the link, but its just the source. Im not a programmer so I have no idea how to compile it. Still searching for an already compiled version, but its not looking too promising.

EDIT: I will get ahold of Bliepo, he would probably know how to compile it.

OK, thanks to my OCD (lol) I was able to figure out how to compile the source using Visual Studio. Download from HERE.

Leave Forwarder Base at the default.
HBC App Folder name - this must be exactly the way the folder is named in the apps folder on your HDD.
Program Name - Whatever you want to name it
Channel ID - Whatever ID you want to give it (4 letters)
Media Type - Here is where you select your source device, in your case USB

Click Create Wad and let it do its thing. You will now have a dol, icon, banner, and wad file. The wad file should be the channel you just created.

WARNING: I have not thoroughly tested this, so if you decide to use it make certain you have priiloader installed. Installing wads without priiloader could brick you. I have to get to bed, early day at work tomorrow. I will test it out more at a later point, but figured I would go ahead and post it if you wanted to mess with it.
