Gecko OS codes don't work?
I've downloaded gecko os to use codes on animal crossing city folk. I've put a gct file with one code for max bells in a Codes folder on the root of my SD. Gecko os says it's found codes, applies them, then starts the game automatically. When I get in game though, the code does not function. It's supposed to be activated by pressing A and +, but pressing them does nothing. Anyone who can help me?
It could be the code itself , if you have everything in the right place on the sd card.
Try a different code with the same game to test it out.
Remember these codes are letting you do things that you weren't suppose to do and not all codes will work or can have an adverse affect on the game.
Well, I messed around with it some more, tried different codes, making a gct file with the pc software instead of downloading one, different hook types in gecko os (i tried Wii Pad, VBI, and OSSleepThread) but I've still gotten nowhere... Is there another program besides Gecko OS that might work, or a particular hook type that needs to be used with this game?
If you are saving the config when changing the hook, then I am un sure why the codes are not working.
Usually when you enable the OSSleepThread and save it , it will work with the codes .
You should be able to use Neogamma, if needed.
