WiiConnect24 and Internet Channel not currently being offered - Advice Needed!
Softmodded 4.3E Wii will not connect to the WiiConnect24 and/or Internet services. WIFI is up, can connect to network, have latest Shop Channel (v21)...
Tried all the usual steps, everything else works but this. Hardmodded the case and DVD gate, so I want the flashing light from WiiConnect24. (I know I could do this with a bit of copper wire and some solder, but I'd rather not, tbh.)
Running out of options here.
I go to turn WiiConnect24 on, and it asks me to accept the EULA. I click to go to the EULA, it says "Connecting to the Internet, please wait..."
It does this for approx 30 seconds, then tells me that "The Wii Shop Channel and WiiConnect24 services are not currently being offered."
Somewhere within these steps it also asks me to perform a system update (AFAIK, there's no 4.4?)
Searched around and found a work-around, using DOP-MII (v16) to change the settings of the EULA to read/accepted, and then updated my shop channel to latest. No dice.
Tried a lot of everything else, nothing. Any takers of how to resolve my glorious fail?
I can post a Dop-MII Syscheck, give you any details you wish, etc.

(As a side-note, to any mods that may happen to look, I'm pretty sure I donated, but haven't received a banner or anything. Correct me if I'm wrong. >.>)
