Exclamation Help with WBFS Manager and USB Loader GX

So just the other day my disc drive went bust so I had to resort to using my 16gb USB to play Skyward sword and Wind Waker. So I've done everything to set it up and all went well ( I think ). Anyway, I stuck skyward sword in there (It was an NTSC file and my Wii is PAL) and it was no where to be seen. I then tried Wii Sports Resort as a check (PAL) and it worked perfectly! When I tried to copy Wind Waker to the harddrive, I first loaded it onto WBFS manager and it said 0.00gb and despite this, when I clicked add to drive it indicated it was done instantly, obviously something was wrong there! So basically, all I want my wii for is to play the two Zeldas. How can I copy Wind waker on without this error occuring? and Ill try SS again but im not sure if it will appear a second time!

Thanks in advance and sorry for any confusion!

You could try to load the original game disc to your usb drive with one of the usb loaders. This would be the best option for you.

You need a fat32 formatted drive to be able to play GC games. Take a look HERE. Follow that guide and then try to load your Wii games using Wii Game manager or WiiBackup Manager. Then check out the GX Guide and the DIOS MIOS Guide.

Ok thanks for replying, I'll try that. However there's one thing I've noticed, for Wii games to be played, the USB needs to be formatted to a WBFS format and the GC Games need to be formatted to Fat32, how can I use the USB (I only have one) to play both? Do I HAVE to buy another so that I have one for Wii games and one for GC Games?

    Thanks!

You can use a fat32 partition for Wii games. Look at the fat32 guide I linked you to. It says that right at the top of the guide...

Ok thanks guys, so far it's good stuff. However the Wind Waker has appeared on usb loader gx but when I click start it asks me to copy to SD? Why is this? Why can I not play it straight off of the usb?

    Thanks.

You have an old version of your loader. (If GX, likely from May 2012).

Links to the most recent versions of the three most common loaders are in my signature.
