Wii not reading USB Drives ANYMORE.

Okay so my Wii has been hacked for about 3-4 years now, and ive never had any issues. Ive always just used Pimp My Wii to keep it up-to-date.

Last night while I was trying to play Mario Party 8, the Wii got stuck on a black screen so I had to reboot it.
The flash drives I had plugged in stopped working with the Wii, but they still work on the computer/ WD TV that I have.
I thought maybe it was just a Wii issue, so I bought a new one for cheap and modded it and tried again but same issue. The Wii's wont read the flash drives, but everything else does.
I bought a new flash drive and it both Wii's have no trouble reading it. Anyone have a clue exactly WTF the Wii did to my flash drives? I'd like to be able to continue using my two 32GB ones instead of buying some cheapie ones.

    Thanks in advance.

Could be a result of something Pimp My Wii installed, I've heard a lot of bad things about Pimp my Wii (even seeing it referred to as Brick my Wii). Use the Softmod ANY Wii guide in my signature and see if that helps.

It could be the settings in your usb loader, or the drives themselves. What usbloader are you using, and how are the drives formatted?

Ive tried formatting to fat/ fat32 and with WBFS Manager and some other WBFS program. Ive also used WiiFlow and USB Loader GX.
Im thinking somehow the Wii just made it so the 2 drives dont work on the Wii anymore

SNES gave the best advice. Follow the Softmod ANY Wii guide, then format your drive and load your games according to our FAT32 guide.

I could be wrong but, knowing what I've read about Pimp my Wii across various forums, my gut is telling me Pimp my Wii is responsible. You did say you had tried both drives on the old Wii before trying on the new, non-pimped, Wii correct? So pimp my Wii may have somehow screwed your drives up.
Just my thought on the issue, you're entirely free to handle it however you want but I still suggest using the ANY Wii guide in my signature.

For the second wii, that was actually the guide I used. But I guess PMW couldve ruined the drives.

Yeah both drives used to function just fine until the wii black screened and I had to hold the power button to restart it, since then only new flash drives work on the wii, not the original 2 I had used. (but they still work for everything else)
The second wii I hacked, I used the letterbomb exploit from your sig. Should I format the Wii and try again and manually install everything instead of using PMW?

No need to format the Wii, just go through the guide and follow all directions. It will overwrite anything PMW installed. Afterwards you'll probably need to format your HDD again (I recommend FAT32), once all that is done they should be readable on your Wii again.
