ok, I installed ios254 again then I went into check IOS's here is what I get

    Check IOS's
    View last output
    Skip checking IOSs: 0
    Display current IOS: 0
    Output IOS cvs: 1
    Dump Hashes: 0

I select Check IOS's at top then it states "Press any key to continue" then takes me back to to list

OK, just have a look in the advanced menu "title manager". Don't delete anything. What do you see under system titles?
What is in the cvs files on sd:\ There should be a log.

under advance menu here is what it states

    "Nand Persissions required.
Check your IOSs for a valid IOS

    Press any key to continue"
Then it takes me back to the Main Menu

I took the sd card out and there is no cvs files the only thing on sd card is

    bootmii folder
IOS254-v65281 folder with the wad inside
    BootIOS.dol
    BootIOS.elf

I hope it didn't matter that everything was on a micro mini sd card. I just moved all files to a 2gig sd card and will try again

That DEFINITELY will matter. Use a fullsize SD card, those MicroSD cards are 50-50 at best, and on this old of a Wii...

He might be able to dump the NAND with FSToolbox (launched using WiiMod's app loader). It has support for GC controllers. Bushing used RealWnD, but that doesn't have GC support (he added it in himself).

Perhaps the bootmii folder is no good. Try to makes bootmii.ini file in SD bootmii with the propper settings form your Wii. Or Google for another bootmii folder or use one made from your other Wii would be fine also. Do that and try those bootmii loaders with the new bootmii folder.

Here is another bootmii folder bootmii(2).zip

Forgive me if this goes slow, it could go faster, but I really don't want you to muck up that nand. I am starting to wonder if that ios254 ever installed, hard to say with such old ios running. We will get it done, bear with me if you please.

I have put some fealers out for a RealWnD with gc controller support, see if anyone is forthcoming with that.

Lets give plan A another try with this iso
    http://www.mediafire.com/?2ck2cdi8z9xr1bk
That should load MMM, install the ios254 bootmii ios,
then from the main menu select reload ios and load 254
or try the bootmii loaders from the app loader, it only loads from sd:\apps\app\boot.dol AFAIR
try that with the fresh bootmii folder above.
