Black Screen when loading Super Paper Mario iso

Hello. :) I am trying to play Super Paper Mario from my usb (I have both cfg usb loader and usb loader gx) but no luck. It just shows a black screen and my wii freezes so I have to hard reset it. My other games work fine (both NTSC and PAL), it's just Super Paper Mario for now. I tried another backup of the same game but in wbfs format and the same black screen showed up. Maybe there was an error when you ripped the disc, try re-ripping it with CleanRip.

So I tried searching for a backup and I found 2, both of them have the exact same black screen problem. Maybe it's an IOS problem but I'm a noob lol so I need help :/

Go to the soft mod any wii guide, Link is at the bottom of my Signature.
Start from "Soft Mod With Homebrew Channel Installed and follow it all the way through.
Please read the Guide a few times before proceeding.
This will update your HBC and your cios's and patch the necessary ios's.

I followed the guide yesterday, found another backup of the game and the same black screen issue happens....I'm not sure what it is but I now doubt it's a bad dump, maybe that game needs something else?

What do you mean you "found another backup of the game"? Why do you need to find it? It's on the game disc, just use CleanRip to get it.

Edit: Nevermind, I see you said it's scratched up...well you can always resurface it which only costs a couple bucks, but if that isn't an option for whatever reason you'll have to wait on someone else to respond cause I'm not sure what advice I can offer besides try loading the game with a different IOS.

I tried it with different IOS's, same black screen. The usb loader (cfg) says that Super Paper Mario runs on IOS 21, does this have to do with anything? My updated syscheck says "IOS21 (rev 1039): No Patches" (can't post syscheck (link or spoiler) for some reason). Any clue?
