Wii 4.2U HBC installed. I'm trying to install bootmii as IOS so I can back up nand but freezes at scam screen (the wiimote disconnect when 1 appears) using bannerbomb v2
IOS36 is 65555 cioscorped i think
I tried to follow this

So what to do to install bootmii and backup nand?
Why don't you follow the softmod any wii guide? It also links to this. Maybe that'd help...
tried following that but the letterbomb won't appear. I tried to search for it in previous dates but nada.
copied the private folder created by letterbomb and Wilbrand GUI.exe but there is no exploit envelop .
So the direct link (which is exactly your problem)? You're now speaking about letterbomb for 4.3 on your 4.2 system --- what?!
You could always try this but only after you followed the initial link in my first reply to you. The link wasn't for the "ANY Wii" guide.
Letterbomb doesnt work with 4.2. You have to use bannerbomb v2. Are you sure you are reading the Softmod ANY Wii Guide? It tells you what exploit to use for your system menu version...

try ahbprot or an Ios with the correct permission.
So how's that freezing or disconnecting? Did you run md5 and verify the checksums? And you didn't answer either of our question(s). You've been a member long enough to know how this works. Issue. Questions. Answers. Resolution. Not seeing the "answers" step here :)

Letterbomb is only setup to server 4.3 system menu's but works the same as wilbrand. Only copy the \private folder to sd:\

got this in my screen
casper v0.2
path: "sd:/bootmii_ios.bin"
IOS flags 254 v65281
but it kicked me back to Wii menu and no bootmii.
