    how to dump a wiiware/virutal console game?

    i would like to know how to back up these games to keep legit. i have tried using a couple of tools i found but it all ways gives me errors and stuff like any title manager and blue dump is there something easier or should i use a smaller sd card to dump the files (not an shdc card) let me know.

    I always use bluedump and it never gives me any errors. Then again Im using a standard SD card, so that could be an issue, Im not 100% certain though. Another way would be to make a nand backup, then use showmiiwads to extract the desired files.

    ok i'm using bluedump but i keep getting codedumps and also what IOS number should i use?

    236 or 249. I am using bluedump mod release date 6/28/11

    both 236 and 249 give me codes dump when i try to make wads for them (i'm trying to dump 2 wiiware games) and i have tried both a 16gb and 2gb sd card. so i don't know what's going on...

    That is strange... Try the other method I mentioned above. It will take a few but it will work. Im no expert at code dumps from bluedump, sorry.

    ok i made a nand back up through boot mii but i don't know what to do next. and i got showmiiwads. what now?

    Look at THIS guide, it will tell you how to get the wads. It's a guide for iso forwarding but it tells you how to do what you need as well.

    Open showmiiwads, go to options and select Change NAND Backup Path. Set it to where you saved your nand. Then go to Tools and select Create Common-Key and follow those instructions. Then go to View and select ShowMiiNAND. Select the title you want to extract then go to Edit, then Extract...

    EDIT: Holy POO everyone just kinda jumped in there LMAO

    EDIT2: Oops I forgot a step. You have to go to tools then extract bootmii nand dump before going to showmiinand
