    After Modding Questions

    Hi,

I have just finished modding my Wii 4.3E and I posted the syscheck and was told it was all good.

A few things I was wondering if someone could help me with are:

    1) Because I have BootMii and Priiloader installed, would it be ok to install MyMenuify although i've heard stories themes brick your wii?
    2) I have the WiiSX and Wii64 emulators and for some reason they won't read the BIOS or ISO from USB, I have put the BIOS on SD and it reads fine but is there any solution to getting it to read the USB for at least the games as they are bigger?
    3) I followed the tutorial when modding and have put the 4 recommended settings in Priiloader to prevent the wii being bricked. Is there any other options or things I should do to prevent it being bricked by mistake (i'm giving it to my niece and nephew).

Thanks and all help is greatly appreciated

    - Laura

    1) Unless you have BootMii installed as boot/, it's considered too risky.

    2) I'm assuming you mean ROM's. But I don't have any experience with those emulators since I have no games for either system. I do know that Not64 is generally considered better than Wii64 in terms of performance and it also works with the newer Wii remotes.

    3) As long as you're blocking updates, you should be fine. Be sure to remove any administration tools from the SD card, though (WiiMod AnyTitle Deleter, etc.). There is also a list of things not to do to your Wii. Link in my sig.

    Thanks for your response.

I decided against the theme, and after 2hours of trying to get PSX and N64 working properly I just left them also. I will make sure to have all the relevant stuff removed from the SDCard for safety.

Thanks again and have a good new year!
