Hack to use gamecube controller over classic controller?

I searched and didn't see anything, but I cant be the only one with this issue.

Is there a hack our something to where I can use a gamecube controller on a game that allows for use of the classic controller?

Maybe I'm ignorant but what games other than the virtual console require classic controller and don't provide support for gc controller?

There are lists on Wikipedia: List of Wii games that use the Gamecube controller and List of games that use the Classic Controller. They both share many uncommon games.

    Oh alright
I actually would be interested in this too
I Assume it wouldn't be that hard

Probably just have a file that replaces the code reading for the key presses of the classic controller and replace it with a file that reads game cube key presses and then simulate a key press for the classic controller

List of Wii games that use the Nintendo GameCube controller - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    There is a link

And I agree that it wouldnt be too hard, of course I know nothing of programming, but it seems very doable
