Seems like the wii internal memory is always filling up and my kids have to move there saves from the unit to the SD card just to free up blocks so they can make saves for new games. Is there anyway to make the game saves go directly to the SD card automatically instead of the wii itself. Using USB loader GX.

I've not heard or read that this is possible, except in the case of playing mario Kart wii CTGP where there is a feature on Riivolution that enables you to save your game data on the SD card.
Look into NAND emulation. You can save games to an emulated nand on your external HDD. Storage space would only be limited by the size of your drive.
