USB loader not working with Seagate 2TB USB 3.0 HD

I copied my games to the above mentioned Hard Drive. I had partitioned this hard drive for approx 1.5 TB to WBFS and the remainder to NTFS format for media player. Now when I turn on USB loader GX, It reads all the games (Displays covers) but when I try to load a game it just resets USB loader and goes back to the wii main menu. Not sure why its doing this at this point. Any suggestions would be great. Mod is fine cause it runs perfect on other Hard Drives.

PS. This drive comes with a USB 3.0 cable and you can also use a traditional usb 2.0 cable, No luck with either cables.

Try removing the CFG files from your usbloader_gx app and see if it works or replace the usbloader_gx with a new or updated GX app keep the images folder if you replace the GX app on your SD card or try wiiflow v4.0.4. Use the 2.0 cable. It maybe the old GX settings causing the issues.
GX R1204. The latest GX is in the bottom of this page USB Loader GX,Replace the boot.dol in your SD /apps/ usbloader_gx with the updated one (r1204_IOS249)
Install USB Loader GX -UNEO_Forwarder Channel 5_1_AHBPROT.wad for USB Loader GX channel and Default-FIX94v14b-forwarder-DWFA.wad for wiiflow channel

I do not use WBFS partition anymore only FAT32 and NTFS. My games are wbfs on my FAT32 and NTFS HDD. You know there is a backup limit on WBFS partition.

Thanks will try those tips, Also can't see anywhere on how big the WBFS partition could be. Do you know the Max size 1TB or 1.5 TB? Can anyone else let us know how big there WBFS partition is.

Why would you go the WBFS route? It cannot store anything except Wii games and has been reported to cause compatibility errors and drive failures. Use FAT32 instead, the guide is in the Recommended FAQS section.

I have used WBFS from the beginning and will continue to use it. I have my drive setup with the first partition as regular FAT for homebrew/emulators and the rest as WBFS. Games work great. I'm a linux user so I use Wiithon, which IMHO is the best thing since sliced bread. Most compatibility issues I have seen stem from the actual drive itself, mainly the drive "falling asleep" which can easily be fixed. Not trying to start anything here just my 2 cents.

Maybe 2TB, but the game limit is 500, which may fit in 1TB, so you will waste about 500GB on your 1.5TB WBFS partition. My games are WBFS files on both my FAT32 and NTFS hdd and they work perfect. I use the wbfs2fat and I did not lose any games and they all work perfect after. There is no 500 game limit with FAT or NTFS HDD and wii games and media works perfect with NTFS HDD, if you need it for GC games, HB, and emulators also then FAT32 is recommended.

Thanks for all the helpful responses. A few questions if I do use FAT 32 instead of WBFS format. Is there not a 4 gig transfer limit? Is there no games over 4 Gig? Also how do I get all my games backed up on my WBFS drive put on my FAT 32 drive. I can extract the iso's but then what?

The game will automatically get splitted. Don't worry, you'll still be able to play the game.

I use it and I did not lose any games and it is very fast.http://images.wiihacks.com/images/smilies/smile.png All your wii games will be in a wbfs folder on the same HDD which will now be FAT32 and then you could tranfer all the games to any USB HDD, FAT32 or NTFS and it will work perfect.
