Black screen w/ Dios Mios (USB)

Okay, so I have a launch Wii, and it's running 4.1 I believe. I'm tried running Dios Mios 2.4/2.5 (not the lite version) and it continuously black screening. I have tried 3 loaders (USB loader GX, Wiiflow, and Dios Mios launcher). All of them are updated. I tried loading the game with all defaults, along with trying to turn off no disc and NMM, but it black screens as soon as try to start the game. Is there anything I am missing?

Cios are D2x v8 base56 for what that's worth.

I also have tried games that are compatible (Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion, etc) and none of them are working. Is it my hard drive? It's a 300GB western digital.

The hard drive is a Fat32 formatted drive (no partitions) with a 32KB allocation.

Re-install DM 2.5 with Wad Manager 1.7 with IOS236. And verify that your HDD is using 32KB cluster size or less, use Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced : right click your disk/change cluster size/current cluster size: I use Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced on three HDD to change it from 64KB to 32KB and I did not lose any data. (I ONLY RECOMMEND ACRONIS BECAUSE NO DATA LOSS)If you use any other HDD program you will have to backup everything before you change the cluster size.

Cluster size is 32KB, the black screen appeared again, even after trying the Wiifl0w and installer it on IOS236.

If you use Wad Manager 1.7 and verify the cluster size and there is no DIOS MIOS splash screen then try another USB HDD.

Tried it, and it's my USB. Do you know of any cheap external hard drive that works? Or at least the one you use? Something around 100GB at least would be great.
