Haven't tried with a GC controller...and now that you mention it, I may have forgotten the font.bin lol. I'll have to check later tonight.

Do you know if I set up SNEEK+DI with neek2o on my SD if I could still load Homebrew apps from the SD too? I've seen people post that if my SD is used for SNEEK it can't be accessed for anything else...so I was just wondering if its been updated to allow for SNEEK and App loading.

I'm pretty sure you lose access to the SD card if you use SNEEK+DI, I thought I saw a modification to one of the files that would re-grant access, but I'm not positive if it works and I don't remember where I saw it.

I'm going to have to look into that. If I could get SNEEK+DI neek2o running from my SD while still allowing me to access my Homebrew apps and stuff that would definitely be my preferred method.

According to the google code page for SNEEK, SD access can be enabled with a little hex editing (which I'm still not very good at ) but its still buggy and "may break the FS on the SD card" so "you should back up ALL your files before trying this and don't expect it to work well"

I have no idea what breaking the FS means lol. I assume FS = file system? Either way I'm gonna look into it a little more and see if there's a more reliable way.

It would make sense for FS to mean file system, but I have no idea, lolo.

Any reason you are switching from UNEEK to SNEEK ?

For some reason my Wii seems to run SNEEK a bit smoother than UNEEK (I've given both a try to see which worked better for my needs). The way I'd like to do it, and I don't know if it's possible this way, I'd like to have SNEEK+DI neek2o run off SD and, if possible, use USB Loader GX to launch any software (games, VC & WiiWare titles, Homebrew apps etc etc). Running Homebrew apps off SD and Wii/GC games off USB via USB Loader GX. I'm not certain if USB Loader GX supports SNEEK/UNEEK/neek2o or if it does how well it works but that definitely would be the ideal way to do it for me. If I could have the access to different things split between SD & USB like that I would probably need to update to d2x v9+ and since they are only betas I'm not sure I want to do that just yet lol. Gonna be fun experimenting with all this stuff over the weekend

I'm actually not sure if USB Loader GX works in xNEEK, but I know for a fact if you use SNEEK+DI, you won't be able to load games via USB, SNEEK+DI is made to load games off an SD card. I'm not sure what d2x would do either, but hey, like you said, experimenting is fun and can always surprise you.

What surprises me is just how little information about xNEEK is available.

I know, I feel like this mostly trial and error for me just discovering the best way to use it. There was 1 useful guide I found on another site and of course you helped me get it working too, but info on NEEK is too hard to come by.

A lot of it was trial and error for me too, there really should be a proper guide that helps you set NEEK up.

Meh, I guess I'll probably just stick with UNEEK+DI so I can SD load my apps, I'll just have to put up with the longer load times.
Also I'm using "UNEEK2O+DI r95" and I definitely don't get the press + for settings thing. I do have the font.bin too....I don't get it. All my games are showing though and they play too which is very nice...though I'm still kinda partial to USB Loader GX for having the same layout as the real system menu but having what seems to be infinite channel slots, plus having all my games shown instead of one at a time.

If there is a downside to SNEEK/UNEEK, aside from the slower nand access speed, it would be that for SNEEK you can't access apps on the SD card unless you enable it via hex editing (which turned out to be easier than I thought, it's explained on the google code page) and likewise for UNEEK it seems you can't access anything on USB aside from the UNEEK EmuNAND and, of course, the games via the UNEEK menu. Perhaps this is due to me not having d2x version 9+, I can't say, but I do hope that the development of NEEK continues and improves the functionality while adding features/support. A big improvement will be if the USB GX team adds full support for NEEK so you can launch games from USB through USB Loader GX in SNEEK/UNEEK mode...though that's not for the people that did NEEK to work on, that's up to USB GXs developers to do.

What do you mean about the " press + for the settings " ? Are you pressing 1 on the Wiimote first ?
I bet it'd be relatively easy to add NEEK functionality to USB Loader GX, but I'm not sure, never tried to create a Wii homebrew application.
