so my wii is almost dead it opens and menu appears but when i open any channel screen goes black and when i try to open any hombrew app screen goes blank though it is running if i press any button something happens but i cant see it so i was wondering if i make nand backup of my cousins wii and install it in my wii ???is it possible
Well, I do remember you can unbrick your Wii from a full brick if you've got bootmii as boot2 but no backup. Hard to tell exactly how without knowing the variables, but I imagine it does involve installing a NAND that wasn't yours in the first place. Better check the sticky. Make it double and you're good.

Yea, you cannot use another wiis nand backup on yours. And if you can get to a place where you can restore the backup, there are likely other ways to fix it anyway. Do you have priiloader installed? Turn wii off, press and hold reset button then press power (while still holding reset). Hopefully priiloader will come up. If it does, you may be able to use as a recovery tool.

last thing i did was region changer and changed to japan then clicked save and then this started whenever i open i any channel scren goes black and priiiloader i have but screen keeps flashing so if anyone can tell me directions like down left right blah bah then i can fix if it worksQuote:
