Question Gamecube games from SD card as Wii Channels

Very simple question but I've seem to not be getting any answers anywhere.

Basically, how do you make Wii Channels (or I guess you can say GameCube Channels) from the GameCube games on your sd card. I seen videos where people have Gamecube games, N64 games, and even older games as Wii Channels.

Please let me know. I have Homebrew and all that good stuff. Thanks!

N64 and older are available on the Wii Shop Channel for purchase, or you could inject certain games into a custom wad to create a VC game that's not available on the Shop Channel. GameCube games however cannot be installed to the system memory. Anything you've seen with Wii/GC games having their own channel was simply a forwarder channel that loads the game from SD/USB via a USB loader app rather than loading it off the systems NAND.

Thanks for the response SNES_Master. I understand that the game itself won't be installed on the wii itself and that it is just a forwarder channel, but that is exactly that I am trying to do. I'm trying to make forwarder channels. I am kind of a newb at this so if you can, could you please explain the steps I need to take in order to get this up and running? I've never done this before.

I know how to make forwarders (pretty basic ones) but as far as making forwarders for Wii/GC games I don't know...sorry

Very awesome resource, but I can't find out any info on how I can create my own bnr from scratch. I have an awesome Idea I would like to implement for my own GC banners but haven't the slightest clue on how to make and then edit a bnr file...any ideas?

Sorry, no idea how to make or edit a bnr file. Glad you liked the link. That page is a bit iffy, uses loads of memory and has non responsive scripts (whatever that means). It could be to do with them getting hacked a couple of weeks back. Wonder how long before the mods delete the link.

That's ok, I figured out how to make a GC bnr. Now I just need to figure out how to make the images appear correctly...right now the image I want to use for each banner (by the way, I use the banners in USB Loader GX, not actual channels) shows up squished to a different ratio than what I need it to be.

I think their was something near the bottom of that page to do with changing the aspect ratio. I would go and have a look but i have a very low spec PC. It took me hours to download 4 meg but was worth it.

I think it has something to do with one of the other images or possibly the BRLYT or BRLAN themselves, but I'll look into that anyway, thanks
