Wii Remote sync issue

My Wii was set to autoboot USB Loader GX from Priiloader. I synced both of my remotes to another Wii. When I wanted to sync it back to my first Wii, it didn't sync at all!

I tried the red-button thing as stated in the Wii Manual, but it does not sync at all. I cannot get into the system menu because my Wii loads GX on boot. I can access Priiloader, though.

I heard I can do this with a GameCube controller, but I don't think I have the provisions to buy a new one.

Is there any way I can sync the remotes in Priiloader/USBLoaderGX or somehow get to the system menu without a WiiMote/GameCube controller? Please help!! Thanks in advance!

You might have to try completely unsyncing them from the Wii before resyncing them. The way I did it was unplug the system for 10 seconds, hold the systems sync for for 15+ seconds. That should clear any controllers that are synced, after than you can then resync as the book says by pressing the sync button on the system and then the one on the remote.

I don't know if this will help you but it's always worked for me when I've had controller issues.

Alternatively if you add BootMii onto your SD you should be able to access the system button by navigating with the systems face buttons...I've never tried this with an "autoboot" set but it wouldn't hurt to try.

Thanks for your help, I will try that just in 5 minutes. As for what you said about BootMii, I already have it on my SD card. The only 2 interfaces I can load on my Wii right now are Priiloader and USB Loader GX, and I can navigate on neither.

And by unplug do you mean switch the power off?

Nope, unplug the power cable from the Wii and the wall.

The only time I've had my Wiimotes refuse to sync I did that and it worked...you may have to get a GC remote so you can access the main menu and try syncing them there.

Oh okay. It'll be very tough finding one but I will, somehow. Will 3rd party GameCube controllers work?

3rd party controller will be fine, and yeah I agree. If it had the option of using the face buttons like BootMii that would nice.
I haven't actually used Priiloader in quite a while lol, I set the settings and have left it alone pretty much.

And the thing is that even if I had enabled the "Write classic hacks.ini" setting, Priiloader would write all my system menu hacks to the SD card. Deleting that file would allow me to access the system menu again. *Sigh*

So there's no way to edit to the hacks ini anymore?
