I formatted my SD card with Wii Backup Manager, but how do I add files to it?

After I formatted it to play Wii games, my computer won't let me get to it and says it needs to be formatted first (to FAT32 or NTFS). So now how do I add regular files to it? Such as roms, movies, emulators, etc? Thanks

What format did you make it? If it is WBFS that's why your comp can't see it.

To be honest I'm really not sure how to add Wii games to it. The problem is, I bought a 32 GB SD Card with the intention of doing everything with it, including adding Wii games. But yeah, I believe it formatted to WBFS. Can you help me with playing Wii games? I know you need to format the drive you want to use, and add Wii games to it through Wii Backup Manager. I got Neogamma already, I assume to just put them on the SD card and it'll play?

Reformat it to FAT32, you can do this with EASUS Partition Master or your computers "My Computer" tab.

Then to play Wii games you'll need something like USB Loader GX to rip your discs, it will automatically make the games the correct format and put them in the proper folders.

I have tried using ImgBurn and burned a game but I couldn't load it. I used many different programs, GeckoOS and a couple others. But you're saying if I use USB Loader GX it'll work? But this requires a DVD, I can't do it on my SD card?

USB Loader GX uses SD or a USB hard drive but you can't install the game if you don't have the original disc for it.

So putting it on a DVD tricks the Wii in thinking I have the original disk? And does the full game install on my Wii, or how does that work?

No, you must own the ORIGINAL disc...like what you find at Walmart or GameStop.

Do you own an official (non burned/downloaded) copy of the game?

Nope, what would be the point in that? :P I want to download a Wii game online and play it on my Wii basically.

I'm sorry, piracy is not supported here and is illegal. I will not be able to help you any further, nor will anyone else...
