If you're able to browse the Shop Channel and the error doesn't happen till you try to DL something it seems it would be either the component in the Wii that controls the wireless network connections or the router. This connection error, does it happen with any Homebrew or when you play a game online?

Havent played a game online. But the homebrew browser worked to dl wiimc.

But when i do a connection test in settings it comes back good. But then it says there is an update. I choose to not do it. It doesnt say what kind though. Weird because i do have priloader set for no updates

Yeah mine informs me of the update too when adding a new connection even with Priiloader blocking it. That's normal. Sounds like maybe your Shop Channel isn't up to date then.
