usb loader shows multiple partitions none the size of my usb

i have a wii i just started modding and first i went threw bannerbomb. i didn't realize that it was out dated because when the step on updating my wii came up it went to 4.3
after reading up on some more it looks like i had to go threw letterbomb so everything works i have the homebrew channel i have working emulators but when i put my usb into the usb loader its shows its partitioned 8 times all of them take me to my games on the wii console nothing from my usb. blus none are the size of my usb, and they look doubled. i don't want to format any of them for fear of bricking my wii.

has any one come accross this issue before?

I would suggest for you to RE-download the usbloader. Use the new one, and forget the old files.

i follower the the tutorial on hacking any wii and i got rid of the doubles in the partition.
one of the steps was to redownload a couple usb loaders.
should i just try and format one on the list or is this a case of my usb just not being compatible ? ** i did check the compatibility list and my usb is not on there

DO NOT reformat your Wii !!!!!!!
your previous problem might have been : a software bug of loader programme, or a bad usb.
JUST format the usb into FAT32 then format it into wbfs with Wii-Backup-Manager. what happens, then ?

when i start usb loader it says usb not found switching to channel list mode. i switch the slot and it takes longer to load then says the same thing.
it gives me the partitions only when its in fat32 but wont read it in wbfs

well, try to use another usb flash drive (ie. memory stick), say a SanDisk 8GB. Never have a problem with it.
format it as: FAT32 --> wbfs --> transfer a tiny game into it with Wii Backup Manager (e.g. NewSuperMarioBrother)
try the usb with NeoGamma (ie. SD:/apps/neogamma) as you've cIOS249 updated already (shown on sysCheck).

p.s. neogamma supports wbfs
usbloader supports NTFS/FAT/wbfs
