I used letterbomb to install homebrew, and installed homebrew browser and snes9xgx + vbagx. (If that helps for what I'm about to talk about..)
I get the message the installed boot1 version prevents a boot2 install (-2). This means I can only install Bootmii as IOS. From what I understand, this basically makes it pointless. So my question is what should I do for brick protection?
How should I install it? Is it automatically on the letterbomb hack where it says install as ios? Also, on priiloader it says having other ios' installed can mess it up.
If you have Homebrew channel on your wii already simply take the Hackmii Installer Extract it and put it in your Apps folder on the sd card.
Make sure you have 540mb's of space on your Sd Card.
Now go back in to Homebrew Channel And press The Home Button and select Bootmii and make a copy of your nand/keys and save it to your computer.
Now go to the Homebrew Channel.
Now Load the Hackmii program
Now hackmii loads and press Continue
Now Go Down To Bootmii
Now Go to Prepare the Sd card
Now Install the Bootmii As Ios
Exit, When It's Done.
- Download Priiloader v0.7 (the latest) from- HERE
- Downoad the hacks for priiloader from here hacks_hash.zip
I love the hacks and I use a few, no issues
It justshows wii, Hbc, sd, and I assume and options menu... But I can't do anything
Alright, thanks. I'm not sure what the hacks_hash is, but I also have another question - I'm not quite sure how the controls on bootmii work. Its power button to cycle and reset to select?

Yes, I use a GC pad in port 1 to navigate the menu. If you don't have one, you can use the Power button to cycle through options in the menu, and Reset to select. You just need to briefly press each button.
I love these priiloader hacks, these are just some:
Block Online Updates - You can run channels that connect to the internet (the Shop Channel, Nintendo Channel, etc.) without being prompted to update
Block Disc Updates - You can play discs without being forced to do a System Menu update.
No System Menu Background Music - A better alternative to the above for most people. Only the background music will be muted, so you can still here the sound when you click on a channel and when scrolling
Auto-Press A at Health Screen - You will see the health screen at startup, but only for a second.
Move Disc Channel - It allows you to move the Disc Channel just like any other channel (by grabbing with B+A). It also lets you move empty slots, but there is no use to that.
How do I apply those?
Download Priiloader v0.7 (the latest) from- HERE
- Extract and copy the folder called priiloader to the "apps" folder that should be at the root of your SD.
- Open the Homebrew Channel and load priiloader
- Press +/A to begin installing Priiloader
- When it finishes, it should reboot into priiloader. If it doesn't turn on the wii while holding the "Reset" button.
- Downoad the hacks for priiloader from herehacks_hash.zip
- Extract the file and put the hacks_hash.ini file in the "priiloader" folder.
SD card structure:
Your priiloader files should look like this.
Now, turn on your Wii while pressing the "reset" button; priiloader should load. Select "System Menu Hacks" and enable the hacks you want.
I recommend: "Block Online Updates", "Block Disc Updates" and the "Move Disc Channel" hacks.
