    Exclamation USB HDD Game Freezing

My Seagate GoFlex HDD had worked flawlessly until I had made changing to it to be able to play my GC back ups.

So after converting to FAT32, Changing Cluster size to 32, Installing WiiFlow (latest),Installing USB Loader GX (Lastest), and Installing DIOS MIOS it started freezing my games.

Wii Games and GC games will start up and play for as long as they want to play until freezing. Its random. Maybe i changed somthing with cIOS. I really dont know.

    Did you try this software:

Seagate USB Drive Settings Optional v1.0 01-Jan-11 This software will allow the user to change the sleep time, toggle the lights, and run drive diagnostics on a Windows computer. More...

Did you also make the partition active and primary

Okay im right at the installing screen for d2xcios. I have absolutley know clue what im doing. I could never understand what IOSs do. I just follow directions. Anyway it says "Select IOS36 or 236 to use during the installation" I was never asked that. It just skipped over working IOS. Is it okay to continue?

Did you do a sys check first?
    I recommend the 2nd Method
    This is the easy way:
    2nd Method:
To install cIOS as .wad files all you need is a tool like Wad Manager v1.7.
    - First, download the cIOS wads package from - HERE
    - Extract to your SD
    - Install the wads with IOS236

after you could check CFG USB Loader/ settings/ IOS.
It will show you all your cIOS
If you do not CFG you could do a sys check after

You could only choose the 1st or 2nd Method not both.
I used to do it the hard way, now I only do it the easy way.
If you choose the hard way:
    1st Method:
When you load the installer (cIOS Selection), IOS 58 (AHBPROT) will be automatically selected you can carry on with the installation. If you don't have it , select IOS 236 and then on the following page where you actually install d2x.

Ok I did a syscheck and submitted it. Here is if you want to see it.

    Spoiler

Will you be able to tell if I installed it correctly with that?

I did disable the sleep mode on the HD also. It doesnt seem to help.

ANNND for the second step why do i have to install so many files when I only installed one in the first step???

You could install one or all in the 1st Method or 2nd Method it is optional, I have all install because sometimes you need it for some games and I like to keep all the cIOS updated plus I use cIOS 248 and cIOS 247 with Cfg USB Loader (the base are different from the wad only for 248 and 247 for CFG USB Loader ) and cIOS 249 and cIOS 250 with Wiiflow and GX
    I recommend
    priiloader
My system menu on both my wii is 4.3U and I have priiloader installed and all my cIOS updated.
WiiHacks Staff will let you know about your system check.
You install cIOS 249 correct, but your (rev 65535) is different from mine (rev 21008)
Your sys check and mine are almost the same except for this part, I never post a sys check before, this is only the cIOS part

    Spoiler

    your cIOS IOS249[56] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v8final)
    my cIOS
    IOS249[56] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final)
    This is optional:

    Spoiler

Sometimes when you update USB Loaders or change HDD format the settings files on your Sd for the USB Loaders could be causing the issues.
