I recently got a .wbfs file of the new kirby game, and have been having trouble trying to get it to load. I've tried configurable USB loader, but it doesn't show the game, just two gamecube games I have on my SD card.
Reading around, everything I saw had something about partitioning my SD card, but I use it for other things so that won't work. Is there a way to play Wii games from SD without formatting it or anything that will render it useless for anything besides Wii games?

- Select SD if asked during startup. If not asked, add the line device=SDHC to settings.cfg (see Configurable Options page for help doing this).
- device = ask, usb, sdhc
- You can force the loader to use a USB drive or SD cards when searching for games, or let it ask you.
Note: The device option can also appear in settings.cfg, which has the highest priority. Look there first if the setting in config.txt isn't working for you.
WII games in a "wbfs" folder on the SD/USB
for eg:
SD/wbfs/Kirby's Dream Collection - Special Edition [S72E01]/S72E01.wbfs
SD/wbfs/Kirby Wii [SUKE01]/SUKE01.wbfs
It has been my understanding that the USB loaders aren't normally well configured to load games off the SD card (though to be fair SDHC cards with enough room can usually handle the games with little trouble). Most of the times I've tried to run loaders like cfg without a USB device present, it complains, regardless of the meta.xml settings or config settings I tell it. It just seems to search for a USB device first and foremost. You can usually work around this and get to the menu where it will show games off of SD, but my experiences with SD-only games have been unpleasant enough to make me used a tiny USB flash drive instead.
Keep in mind that Piracy is not supported here at Wiihacks. Your post saying you "got" a wbfs of Kirby made me suspicious.
