Please help A Noob Who has just "successfuly" Soft modded Wii- Now MP9 doesnt work

I wanted to softmod the family wii (4.3)because my kids have scratched 3 games already and the last one "sonic and Mario winter games" was scratched within 2 weeks. I was looking to backup the games we purchased. I followed a tutorial on another site https://sites.google.com/site/completesg/ and added homebrew, bootmii, ios 236v6, and d2x cios 3.1. Haven't tried to backup a dvd yet. All i know is i put in my son's Mario Party 9 disc and I get a message that I have to do an online update in order to run it. It is waaaaay passed my bedtime and my kid is going to go crazy when he won't be able to play Mario Party 9. Any advice? I thank anyone in advance for helping out a tired old noob.

Did you follow the guide completely? If you did u should have pre/pri-loaded installed. Hold the reset button on you wii and check your options which tells U2 turn off disc and online updating. That should help u out.

Obviously, your softmod is out of day; and you don't know how to apply NeoGamma to play your game/disc. Using NeoGamma, you won't be prompted for an update.
what i could recommend for you to do is:
-- redo the softmod completely, according to the SoftMod Any Wii in this Forum. Forget what others in your mind.
-- Install NeoGamma and Configurable usbloader. These would provide enough coverage for you to play with retail disc or, your backup DVD's, or usb flash drive or usb hard disk, whatever you take.
-- backup all your purchased discs and have a happy family.
