    Wii won't power on

my will will not power on, no red light, no green light. it behaves exactly as though it were not plugged in (despite all cables and outlets involved being tested and working)

the problem started as i was attempting to softhack my 3.1 wii using the "softmod/hack any wii" guide

as the wii is 3.1, i was using bbv1. it downloaded the fist file linked in the spoiler and extracted it to a freshly formatted sandisk 2gb standard sd card

when i went to wii setting>data management>channels>SD the screen displayed only white squares, i could not seem to load boot.dol

i reformatted the sd card and extracted the files linked as "B" in the bbv1 spoiler

when i went to wii setting>data management>channels>SD a prompt came up asking "would you like to load boot.dol" i said yes and recieved a message that said "boot.dol could not load" or somthing to that effect

i reformatted the sd card and extracted the files linked as "C" in the bbv1 spoiler

when i went to wii setting>data management>channels> when i clicked on SD the system froze. after waiting a while i powered off the console. now it is behaving as described above.

i'm a bit worried as any article i have been able to find thus far about bricking on the forum describes wiis that will at least power up, but fail to boot. haven't seen anything desribing a problem quite like the one im having yet.

    help me please!!

1st try unplugging the power cord from the wii and wall then let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Plug it back in and see if it works.
