I've been thinking about doing emuNAND for a while but there's just one problem, I don't know what the hell I do to set it up. So I'd like to get a few questions out of the way and perhaps someone can point me to a tutorial.

First I need to ask, is it only used by Homebrew apps or does it apply to the whole system? Let's say I only have 1000 blocks of memory left (yeah, I know it's a lot but bare with me), and I want to start buying some rather larger (or just a lot) of stuff from the Shop Channel but I fear running out of space, would emuNAND add extra channel slots to the menu or perhaps add more blocks for just game saves?

Next it's my understanding that EmuNAND creates a clone of your real NAND on SD or USB (am I wrong? If so please tell me how it really works). This allows you to install wads (ie channels) to that clone of the NAND rather than the actual NAND which essentially protects you from a faulty installed wad causing a brick. This seems greatly beneficial as I have been tinkering with creating my own NES, SNES, Sega Genesis and GameBoy channels and I don't want to kill my Wii if I do something wrong.

And finally (I'll have more questions depending on what answers I get I'm sure), what kinda of freedom does this emuNAND give you? Can the emuNAND be transferred between systems since it's on SD/USB or is it like the real NAND and is system sensitive?

Thanks for any helpful answers and again, if there is a guide for how to set this all up somewhere, please point me to it. I'm most interested in learning more about it and giving it a try.

I followed all the steps in that guide but USB Loader GX won't view my emuNAND (perhaps I just don't know how to get it to). I realize the guide was writing for WiiFlow but it should work for other USB Loaders shouldn't it?
