USB loaders not working & homebrew not reading SD card

I have softmodded my wii before, it was on 4.3U and it was working fine. I stopped using the wii for a long time ( 6 months ) then when i started using it again nothing was working, everytime i open up one of the channels like the configurable usb loader channel or the back up dics channel they dont seem to work or they go back to the wii channel menu. i put in an SD card to try and load up the channels off the SD card instead but theres nothing there when i access the homebrew channel, just those floating bubbles. i tried using a different SD card but its still the same problem

It sound's like you are using forwarder channels, Hence the wii booting back to the wii menu.

Seeing how you said it's been 6 Months, it would do you good to Update your Soft Mod.
Follow The Soft Mod Any Wii Guide.Link is at the bottom of my Signature.

Start From Chapter 2 and follow it all the way Through.
This will give you all the Apps you need as well.
You don't need to delete anything ,this will over write everything.

Please Read the Guide A Few Times, Then Proceed.

Make sure the that the apps are like so on the sd card...Sd:/Apps/WiiMc/boot.dol etc.
Re-format your Sd card as well ,if the above doesn't work.

Every app must go in to the apps folder and the app must be in it's own folder and within that folder would be an .xml file a .png file and a .dol file.
