    USB Loader GX problem

So, I have a 4.3U firmware and I am new to homebrew. My USB Loader GX doesn't load properly. I have it on the Wii Menu and the Homebrew channel. When I load it from the Wii Menu it says: Loading...
It's stuck there. So I unplug the USB drive and plug it in again. Then the screen turns black OR it says:
Waiting for your slow USB drive. Please wait ___ seconds. There is green flashes in between. <--- this happens more than the first one.

When I load it from the Homebrew channel:
It just says in small print at the top of the screen:

    Starting up
    Initializing controllers
    Initialize USB (wake up)

    I unplug then replug:
    it says:
Waiting for your slow USB drive. Please wait ___ seconds. There is green flashes in between. Or it freezes at some amount of seconds (when I replug it) and then it says for a millisecond:
    USB cannot be loaded!

I don't know what I did wrong. I am trying to get an ISO for Mario Kart Wii (since my disc drive broke) Can you please help me? It would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your drive is improperly formatted, and/or your drive is not compatible. What kind of drive is it? And did you follow one of our guides to format?

Also, it is easy to assume that when people mention downloading isos that the post is piracy related. Please take note that piracy is is not supported or condoned here. Since your disc drive is broken, we are assuming that you indeed have the original and are using a downloaded iso because of that fact. Please clarify this when providing further info
