Need help with my Wii/cannot read any DVD/CD/GC disk and other issues

Hi all!I swamped my PSP3000 for Wii with some dude yesterday and he said that Wii is "softmoded" and that I must first copy every game on HD then to USB stick if I want to play it.He said it is normal that DVD stops to work with softmod but I dont belive it.I think DVD is OK from hardwers view and problem is only in softver because when I insert DVD I get wrong disk inserted or something like that.Is there any way to fix this?I was looking everywhere since yesterday trying to solve this myself but I am just a noob with Wii console hacking. He said something that sotver is 4.3.
One other issue:I really want to play all my GC games on Wii but cannot make it to work.Even if DVDis not working I tried it with DiosMiosLite but when i try to start game with NeoGama I get some errors.I used one of my favourite GC games Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles and according to compatibility List from MiosDiosLite it should work but Wii reconize game but when starting it gives me some kind of error.Any way to fix this? How are yours expiriences wit Dios Mios Lite?Does it work with your Wii?Here is link to my syschek from Wii: sysCheck #tnWfKTgb
    THX to all in advance.
[I was talking about orginal games not selfburned]

I would follow the softmod any wii guide and then try your games again. What region is your wii? What region are your games? Ntsc? Pal?

syscheck says:Region: PAL and games are also PAL.
It is 100% something wrong with softver.

Then why are you here asking for help if you know what is wrong haha

Your wii could be too new to play dvd's in the first place and has nothing to do with the softmod or being a 4.3

Nubz has a point there. Your Wii may be one of the newer ones that cannot and will not be able to play backups from DVDs. You should follow the softmod any Wii guide in my sig (already recommended before) and this time, try not to be a nuisance to others. Both people in this thread have tried to help you, but it seems that you do not want help. Sure, nubz made a joke about it, but you need to start following directions.

If you are talking about your wii not playing originals, then maybe the drive is shot like the seller suggested...
