EDIT: All my games on my USB works on my two other Wii's.

EDIT2: I have tried some other USB Loaders but none of them works, the screen just freeze and it comes some high noise

Sorry for my bad english guys.
I have the same problem (minus the high noise). I created a FAT32 hdd, root directory folder WBFS and used Wii backup Fusion to load the games into the WBFS Folder. When I try loading the games through NeoGamma, when mounting it freezes, on the USB loader GX it says initialize hd and freezes, and on the other apps it freezes too.

    What can I do?

Question Can't load games, loaders are always freezing

    Hey,

I got a problem and i can't fix it, so please any one can help?

I used the softmod guide and everything went well like described. Afterwards I formated a FAT32 hd, created a root directory folder WBFS on the hd and used Wii backup Fusion to load the games into the WBFS Folder. When I try loading the games through NeoGamma, when mounting, it freezes and the same on the USB loader GX it says initialize hd and freezes, and on the other apps it freezes too.

    What can I do?

To both of you: check to make sure you formatted correctly according to THIS GUIDE. If you still have problems you may have an incompatible drive.
@babtatis make sure you softmod is up to date. Follow the ANY Wii guide, link below in my sig.

EDIT: And how about sticking to one thread when posting an issue. I moved your other post here.

    My bad, thanks.

I softmoded the wii today, using the any wii guide on your link, should be up to date. and i used that same formatting guide to format the drive. It's a WD Passport, should work fine. That is why i don't know what do to.

Just one questions, as described in the formatting guide, the root file WBFS is to be created on the external hd right?

Yes. The problem you are having could be related to a few different things. First and foremost make sure you have a known compatible drive. Look HERE.

Done, but the same problems continue. Let me try to explain better what is going on so that you have a better insight.

I bought the wii yesterday and followed the any wii softomode guide and everything went perfect. I used the fat32 guide to format the drive and the backup fusion to transfer the games. (format ok/transfer failed).

all the loader apps freeze when they try to access the HDD:
-cfg just displays the cfg image
-GX - freezes saying: Loading... initialize hdd device
    -wiiflow keeps loading and loading..
-gamma freezes when accessing the HDD to mount and doesn't change the screen.

I have also trouble in using Wii Backup Fusion, it startes transferring and at 99% it cancels. (btw I use a Mac.)
    HDD info: WD passport 120Gb - FAT32
    1 folder: WBFS

Could it be a HDD problem? can i use a 8gb kingston usb pen to try a game?

    Thanks you,

Could be a drive problem. Yes you could probably use your pen drive to test. Format it to fat32 and make sure it is set to primary and active.

Well I formated the pen, transfered the game to the WBFS folder and inserted it, the loaders worked but didn't found any device. I'm sorry to ask such a stupid question, but how do I set to primary and active?

    Btw, Thanks for your support
