Does the same thing in that video happen when the drive is fat32?

Is it a brand new Wii? Or is it a used Wii?
    Does the disc drive work?

Yeah. It is a brand new Wii I recently bought for a couple of days ago.

That is strange. It plays discs fine? The reason I ask is If the disc drive is not connected you will get a blackscreen when trying to run homebrew apps. But it must be something else if the Wii is brand new.

There has to be a simple solution. Something we are missing.

I agree, something we are missing. Trying to use a nand from another Wii is asking for trouble though so I would reframe from that for the time being.

All my disc games works fine! But all my homebrew apps and wbfs games on the USB won't run.

Is the other Wii you tested the hdd on, softmodded with the same guide? Does it have homebrew v1. or v.8?

Are the apps from the app pack in the guide?
