Help with using USB Loader GX

Before I begin, here's my syscheck

    Spoiler

I have my old Wii, running 4.2U firmware, it does NOT read discs, the tray is completely broken, I can't even get a disc inside of it.
Now the problem: I have homebrewed it, installed all the necessary custom IOS and everything to run USBLoader on it, I have Super Smash Brother Brawl in an ISO file which I ripped from my other homebrewed Wii (working DVD drive) onto a USB stick, which is formatted correctly, shows up in the newly homebrewed Wii and everything when I select it in the menu of USBLoader.

But when I go to start the game, it starts up fine, but immediately goes to the "Please Insert Super Smash Bros Brawl Game Disc"
Now the question: Is there ANY way to bypass the game disc check on SSBB? I have looked everywhere and tried countless cIOS's and everything, but no luck.

So if ANYONE here has any information on this topic, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
And if you have any questions, message me privately.

The drive has to at least be somewhat functional for a usb loader to work. If the drive is completely dead, usb loading will not work.

That being said, you could update your mod using the ANY Wii guide. If it still doesn't work, you just may be out of luck unless you replace the drive.

    Darn, seriously?
Is there ANY possible way I can play Wii games on this then without fixing the drive?
If not, how much is a replacement disc drive?

IF it is the drive, then unfortunately you won't be able to play any Wii games. WiiWare and other non disc dependent apps will still work. New drives go for around $60.

Good call. It also wouldn't be bad idea to check out the rip in your other Wii to verify if it works or not.

Alright, I've tried another game, doesn't work.
And I know it's a good rip, I can play it on my other console that's modded, so it must be the drive. Thank you for your support!
