    Homebrew driving me batty

Ok so I hacked my wii pre-Christmas and it's been great. Used letterbomb to get homebrew and Bootmii and both have worked flawlessly. USB loader tends to be a tad glitchy but I chalk that up to user error and playing with the settings a bit.

Now a few days ago my router conked out and I got a new one. I connected the wii and got a little click happy and next thing you know it's updating. Ugh.

I got a little panicky and tried to run homebrew and it popped up without a problem so I thought all was well. Today I tried to load a game on USBLoader and nothing... doesn't see the drive. It's the same drive I've always used so I disconnected/reconnected, powercycled, etc. Then it saw the drive but if I click on a game it takes me back to the homebrew channel.

So I took out the SD and deleted and reinstalled the loader, this time to the newer version.... and nothing. Same problem all games lead back to homebrew. Well then I try launching the radio... freezes the wii. I try launching an OS loader - freezes (Can those be deleted once installed or do they have to remain on the SD card?) So now I moved on to the homebrew channel. I don't think you can unhack the wii so I just went to channels and deleted the homebrew channel.

Downloaded the letter bomb hack and says successful - but same thing on the loader. I then went through the settings and reset to defaults and did all updates. The disc image shows now and spins but still takes me back to the homebrew. What is up?

A few techy details; I was on 4.3u before and after the update.
My homebrew version was 1.1.0 and still is
USB Loader was 2.0 but now 2.3

I am running the USB loader on cIOS 222.

I think thats all the details I can give. Any and all help appreciated!

Nevermind, I did a search. I have never used bootmii before, I backed up the NAND and there were 4 bad blocks... is that normal or the source of my problem?
    If numbers matter; 848, 1900, 2464, and 3158.

I'm pretty sure it's normal to have some bad blocks - I read this is a guide somewhere. Don't worry - just continue with the guide.
