    need backup help BADLY

So my wii decided to have a video problem. there's these black lines all on the screen. (i know its the wii not the tv or the cable. already tried) I believe it has something to do with over heating. Nevertheless, I'm going to have to send it in to Nintendo to be fixed. I have two problems.

one. i know there's gotta be a way i can back up my saved game data to SD using the homebrew channel (which I already have) or other such channel. so how exactly do i go about doing that?

two: How, after i get that stuff backed up and what not, do I get the homebrew channel and my gamma channel and all that off my wii for when I send it in.

    1. To get save data onto the SD card, go into your Wii's options. (Wii Button on dashboard) From there, there's a data management menu. Move saves from the Wii to SD using that.

    2. Delete the homebrew channel from the data management menu. Delete the gamma channel from the data management menu. Execute a system format.

    is your SD card locked?

look at the card and find the switch on the right side of it.

no. it lets me do some of them. except the ones that you normally can't like super smash bros or animal crossing or mario kart. aka all the important ones i actually care about. that's why i'm looking for a home brew way to save them.
