Thread: Problem with USB3.0 and black Wii

    Problem with USB3.0 and black Wii

    Im using Seagate Go flex 1tb Hard drive USB3.0, only works on white wii ,but when i put on black wii 4.1u with v7 245-251 ios the game freeze, i try too many loaders and the same issue. Any help?

    The color of the Wii doesn't matter.

    Follow the softmod any Wii guide,
    Then follow the fat32 guide,
    Is what I do for every Wii and everything works great.

    Everything playerkp420 said is completely right. Adding my two cents - USB 3 drives are genearlly less compatible than their USB2 counterparts. Personally, I don't recommend them, as they're more trouble than they're worth, and USB2 drives are readily available. Having said that, games freezing can often be linked to power saving software being enabled in the drive itself. Check to see if your drive has it and see if so, how you can disable it.

    thank for fast reply, i following both guides, i think is a issue with the black wii

    Again, color doesnt matter. Period. All wiis are the same on the inside. (Except the new blue ones which lack gamecube controllers).

    FIXED THANK YOU! BluPhant i download the software FreeAgent | Go, FreeAgent | Desk, FreeAgent | XTreme | Seagate and i disable the power saving mode , now all games works !!
