Have u tried with your apps folder on both SD and usb?

If neither work then you will have to run letterbomb to reinstall Homebrew channel.

ok I know what hes saying. I updated and now HBC is very buggy. Freezes etc.
BUT, my HBC will get to the Apps..it just takes about 5 or so resets..huge pain really.

He wants (same with me) to know how to either re-install HBC easily OR downgrade to a older version.
I think Im just going to try deleting the "bootmii.ini" (configuration settings) on my HDD and see if the system will re-write a more stable one on startup..?

    1st sorry. And 2nd awesome!
    And..., I fixed it!
If you can access your HBC and no apps show, its just buggy because the update was not not downloaded entirely or something caused a bad save. (power surge, brown out, et cetra)

Here's what you do.Keep restarting your wii. Try with BOTH the HDD and SD in, then if nothing shows in HBC then try without the HDD and ONLY the SD connected. Then if still nothing then Try with only the HDD connected.
Eventually it will load. Mine was a persistant lil *****. IT WILL, EVENTUALLY SHOW THE APPS. Trust me I HAD the same problem.
Once it does. RE-Run HACKMII Installer. It will say you are able to install HBC. do it!
This will downgrade you to the last stable version.

Now heres the problem. Even though its the version you used when you originally used mauifrogs guide...its...not going to be stable anymore! I know, weird right?
(this has to do with a change in algorithms and naming conventions, overwrite, etc)

So load HBC one more time and it will prompt you to update once again. Do it!
Reset the Wii and run HBC then HackMii Installer one more time. reinstall homebrew. Yes.. downgrade a second time!

Then reload HBC and update a 2nd time. (Yes this really worked for my black 4.3u)
Mine has been stable since. (the reason for downgrading and re-upgrading twice is basically so if there was bad code, the reminants will definitly be over written, I know this because I went to school for programming.)

Programmers will not release a version if its less stable than the last.
(refer to line 3 of this reply)

If this does not work I recommend deleting the "bootmii.ini" (configuration settings) these files will normally reconfigure upon reboot.
If that does not do it. I was going to research replacing my bootmii folder entirely and just re downloading all my apps. (just disconnect the SD before a reboot, this may cause the congiguration settings to stay)

If all else fails, try loading the Black HBC..

IF that didnt work I was going to replace "boot.elf", "keys.bin", and "nand.bin" files with original backups.
    If that fails..well..re-mod.
    Best I could do chick.
