I have burnt the disc for the "All Region Wiikey 2 rescue disc" but I get the error "unable to read the disc". My wii is an ntsc. So this one should work as the other regional disc is korean. I burnt it on the same dvd's I've been using to burn my first two successful games (Verbatim 4x). Am I doing something wrong?

I have now erased my homebrew and wad manager channel hoping that it would uninstall or just erase what was installed, but no luck. Which I guess shouldn't really surprise me. I just want to erase everything and go back to the beginning!

reformatted the wii. All homebrew channels are gone. I couldn't sill run the v1.2 config disc. It worked before with 3.3u before downgrade to 3.2U. Anyone found a fix yet?

    Thanks

I couldn't find a solution to this either. I reformatted it down to 3.2U from 3.3U. I have now erased the homebrew channel and wad manager and have since run the update on the wii fit that updates my wii back to 3.3U and everything, including my burnt games are working just fine. I believe the trick is that along as you down the full file (ie. 4.3GB) rather than a file of smaller size (ie. 2.5GB) than the system will work fine. However, make sure you DO NOT upgrade to 3.4U as I have since received a system update to that. As many have commented, Nintendo changed the user agreement to install future system updates without your permission. It's done automatically.

If I disconnect from the Internet, I can't imagine this to be done, except through updates in new games.

I hope that answers your concerns/ issues. I still want to get the config disc to work, but I don't know how to get it working. For now the games are working as long as I get the correct ntsc region and full size editions.
