Rockband 2 DLC Crack

Well after perusing the internet I came across this nifty this little dol for your HBC, called The Rockband 2 DLC Crack. I myself have yet to use this little homebrew app, but I'll post it up so everyone else can have it too. I'm a little skeptical on if it works or not, I know one person has posted a thread saying they get an error when using, but no one replied to them.

I figured no one has tried it out yet, so no one knows. The instructions for it, seem a little weird to me. I didn't create the app, so I don't know. The rar file includes the app/wad/tutorial for using the thing. But here are the instructions anyways: (Although I don't think you really need to format the SD card first.)

After that's done....

A. Format your memory card after doing the above...

1. Place all files (from the torrent) in root of sd card

2. Launch Homebrew channel, if you dont have it go to wiibrew.org and find out how to put it on your wii.

3. Open the program called "WAD Installer", just click it and then click load. This is ON THE WII, not your computer.

4. You will see a confirmation, just press A. Press A until you see 2 files called sZAE and sZBE on your screen.

5. on the first one (sZAE), push the plus sign on your wiimote. then hit A. It WILL have errors. Install it again. Same way, again it will have errors.

6. Now follow the exact same steps for sZBE, again it WILL error both times.

7. Now we have to uninstall each one, ONCE. JUst instead of pushing the plus sign, push the minus sign. Then hit A. UNinstall each one only ONCE.

8. Now we re-install them. ONCE. Follow step 5, but only install each of them one time. You will get error (ret = -1017). You need that.

9. Exit the WAD Installer.

10. Restart wii.

11. Go to the DLC Store in RB2 and it should show all songs as "Purchased"

12. HAVE FUN!!

So the crack works. There is already a guide in the Other Tutorials forum, it has a more updated version as it supports the Third Generation DLC as well. This post only includes sZAE and sZBE. The tutorial also includes sZCE.

i have used this and still use it, the thing rocks it has saved me a few hundred dollars in wii points. The only thing you need to do is use softchip with it otherwise you will have problems when you go to download the songs

woooow way better than trying to hack a 360 or something it shows everything purchased!!!!

very nice. Would allow the game to haaaveee waaaaaaay more songs than you start with. I could play the game for longer now thanks dude!

just a quick question.

I have pal 4.0e wii and rb2 pal backup disc.... if I change my wii shop to usa as per some other guides I have seen, will this hack work ?

I have everything Pal remember. or would it only work with region free pal wii and an ntsc backup disc ?
