A Weird New super mario Bros Problem

Just curious has anyone had this problem with there New super mario bros game for the wii....
I play it through a usb loader gx and everything loads fine right up to when you want to start a new game from the start in the second save spot, I click on it and then click 1 player and the screen goes blank..
if i click on the first saved game spot where i have save a game it will work and game play as usual.. its only when my son goes to start up a new game it plays up ...has anyone got any clues to help me out ? it use to work but dont now for some reason. Please show me a way of getting around this thank you Pab

try deleting the save games and see if it works, could just be a corrupted save file.

I have a strange question about the game too. When I use WFBS manager to put the game on usb HDD, it only shows about 340M. Is this normal?

    Thx

Been asked about a gazillion times. Yes it is, it's scrubbed when loaded onto a WBFS volume. All crap data removed.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
