    1) Either your mod isn't up to date. Posting a syscheck (directions on how to do that are in my signature) will let us determine that, or
    2) Your game image is corrupted and you should have it reripped from the game disk using one of the USB loaders to ensure it is ripped properly.

    Spoiler

Yeah. Your mod is very old. You still have 1.0.8 HBC (1.1.0 has been released well over a year ago), and you are lacking nearly all of the cIOSs.

I would suggest that you go through Softmod Any Wii guide (linked in my signature) and start at the top, choosing the "for systems with HBC" as a start to start the process in getting your system current.

If you've completed the guide and your problem still persists, let us know.

    Hi llaffer,
just one more thing, seeing as its already modded, albeit out of date, do i have to start again from the top ? if so is there anything i need to delete first ? (maybe to create space/blocks ) or do i just format whats presently on the s.d card and just start from fresh and simply "write" over everything

or is there a way just to update hbc and the ios that i need,
    Thank you again.

I answered your question before you asked it ...

I didn't say delete anything, the guide doesn't say delete anything. I didn't say format anything, the guide doesn't say to format anything.

See a pattern? Read the guide. Read the guide. Read the guide. (yes, thrice), then follow the guide.

Your guide is excellent i have completed everything, 1st try with no errors. Thank you.

Just a couple of quick questions
    1. I still cant play sky captain. Get a black screen and have to reset. Have Tried several backup rips now.
    2. I can still see forwarders/channels for old - usb gx, configurable usb and neogamer.
    3. Is it safe to visit nintendo channel ?
    4. I have been waiting nearly 40mins now for the "large zip file containing current image files" to finish - when you 1st load homebrew browser, should it take this long ? shall i let i run or press the B button ?

Note - I had to update the boot.dol in hb/browser to eliminate the error 6 i was getting.

My system now looks like this

    sysCheck v2.1.0b19 by Double_A and R2-D2199, Nano
