How do I get this good at F-Zero GX??
YouTube - F-Zero GX - Big Blue Ordeal world record 2'01"184(beaten)
^^Is he using hacks, or is he really that good.
If so, I was wondering if anyone could give me F-Zero GX Coaching over skype, so I can get better?
:D
A bit of BG info on me, I have historically never been much of a console gamer. The last console I had being the Sega Master System II, which I had when I was 8 back in 1992.
My Dad accidentaly through it out when he was having a tidy-up of the attic.
I have prety much been a PC gamer through and through when it comes down to gaming, so wipeout-esque, and/or gamepad driving games mystify me. I keep hearing about this thing called snaking, and I dont understand it, and I know this game is ancient in most peoples terms but its still good.
I still want to get better than completely rubbish, even if I never play it again.
I need to know all the Tips/Tricks Techniques, and Necessary knowledge for a good score.
:)
It may be too late, I am 27, I am probably far too Old to have good enough reactions/reflexes to be good at this game. One can't have Teen reflexes one's whole life I suppose :023:
And that would be a big shame, but I supsect and hope thats nonsense.
Driving has traditionally, for me at least, been done with either < > V ^ arrow keys, Spacebar=Horn, Shift Key for boost A and Z for gear change, or a Steering Wheel and Pedals plugged into the back of the Tower Desktop. :p ;)
How do I get this good at F-Zero GX??
Because the difficulty curve is vertical! :-/
I dont want to spend too much time getting good, I just want to get good as quickly as possible so i can enjoy it more. I dont want to cheat par-se, but If i there was a way I could slow the game down I would. That way I could train myself up more quickly, by proggresively ramping up the speed bit by bit untill thinking at the speed required to actually get the most out the the game seems second nature. :)
Everyone who seems to get the most enjoyment out the game seems to be quite good already, and you can indeed enjoy something more if your already really good at it.
I suck right now, relative to everyone else who own the game because I haven't owned nor played it that much. And that bothers me.
