That doesn't work. You can't save to an SD card via a SD Gecko. You still need a GC memory card even if you own a Gecko.

Before things like Swiss, that was the sole purpose of an SD Gecko...

Say what? Believe me I've personally tried and a quick online search will show you can't save to an SD Gecko via any means. It's not recognized as a GC memory card so it won't do it. If you can prove me otherwise feel free but I would take it from a SD Gecko user that has tried.

Hmm, I'm getting mixed results on google. So you tried it through Gecko OS and it still didn't work?

I don't use Gecko OS and I still don't believe it would work. I tried saving a game like I normally would. Saving to an SD card isn't even an advertised feature of the product. Even when running Swiss you still need a GC memory card to save. I don't think there is any way around needing a GC memory card to save GC games.

The potential of being wrong bothering you that much?!?!?! You're probably not going to sleep until you're right! LOL

There should be an app able to play GC Games through it so that the app would stay open so that you could save state on an sd card. But im not sure the wii would be capable of doing that...
