    Us Gamecube Emulation Graphics Problems

    Hey Everyone,

I'm new to all the Wii hacking and emulation, but have tinkered with dolphin, PJ64, etc.

Whenever I load isos using CFG USB Loader or Loader GX, it seems like the graphics are not nearly as good as using a physical copy of the disc on an actual gamecube. Is this just me, or is there some setting/patch that I have not turned on or altered to help with the graphics? I don't expect next gen graphics, but am wondering if someone could steer me in the right direction.

    Thanks!

What are you using to load the GCN ISOs on your Wii?

If I spelled something wrong, I'll just blame it on auto-correct

Are you trying to use Dios Mios or Devolution to play GC games on your Wii? We have guides for both.

"And..." would be the obligatory follow up. "Yes, I used your softmod guide and then the Dios Mios guide, or "What you talkin' about, Willis?"

If you read the rules that you accepted this morning, you would have known that we don't allow linking of external guides.

We only support our own guides.

    So your options are:
    - ask gbatemp your questions, since you followed their guide, or
    - Follow our guides, then ask for help if you still need it.

If you choose the latter, the guides that you want to look for, in order, are:

Softmod Any Wii Guide, FAT32, Dios Mios.

Links to all three guides exist in my signature.

Not a problem. I apologize for linking, just figured it would be easiest to explain it.

Everything runs fine and the isos are good rips, but the graphics just don't look up to par. Any advice is appreciated

Do the games ask whether you want to enable progressive scanning ? If they don't, the games will only output to 240p ( or would it be 240i ? ), instead of 480p. You need a set of Wii component cables to make it ask whether you want to enable it or not.
