Muramasa The Demon Blade

Hi guys & gals, first post here, just sayin hi...

Anywho, to the game, Muramasa is a classic 2D side scroller with some RPG elements..nothing to deep really, just a sorta hack and slash game based in 1600 China...you can choose to play between a girl or a guy, it doesnt really take all that much skill to play, considering its a button masher (A,A,A,A) lol..moving along, it does have some fun parts to it; As you progress through the game, you can create new swords using souls & spirit you gather along your journey. Also, you can stop by little shops and eat some food, which has some interactive part to it by pressing A about 7 times, and the food is gone.

I just recently beat the girls storyline (ending with her being lvl 54)..so i have no idea what the max lvl is and i've currently started on the guys...though i most likely will take my time on his lol

Well this is my first post, so i wanted to contribute something good

Welcome to the forums.

I actually hacked my Wii for the sake of playing this game. I think it's a great game, though a bit repetitive. The graphics make you feel like you are playing in a painting and the controls are smooth. There's just something about fighting 20 ninjas at once that just doesn't lose it's appeal.

I have completed the game with both characters and just an fyi, there's 5 endings. When you beat either characters story line, you will get a new blade. If you then beat both characters final zone with these two blades equipped when you walk through the gate to the last boss, the boss fight will be different and lead to a different ending. The final ending involves you getting all 108 blades and then beating the end zone again (this is what I have left to do so I don't know the specifics).

Still, it feels like castlevania with ninjas, swords, crazy special attacks, etc.

PS: After you beat the game, go into IZU when you get the ability to unlock white barriers and go to the tree stump (special zone). It's called "Total Pandemonium." I highly recommend trying it around level 60-65. It's crazy.

Sweet!, i was beginning to wonder when and how i was going to unlock the White Barriers lol. I kinda figured i'd have to beat both players stories, and i recently just beat the giant spider on Kisuke's file..maybe it's just me, but leveling up the girl was much faster than leveling the guy lol...anywho, im just glad someone confirmed my thought on how to unlock the white barriers lol, oh and thanks for the tip on goin to IZU lol
