Question Top Trumps Doctor Who black screen

I was in the UK a while back and picked up Top Trumps Doctor Who (PAL) for my son. I backed it up to a USB HDD but whenever I try to launch it, the screen goes to black. The Wii is soft modded, version 4.2U, NTSC- US, & I am using USB Loader GX (up to date). I have a few other PAL games on it that work fine (I set it to Force NTSC).

I've searched around and found that the game needs IOS33. Did a syscheck and have it, rev 3608, no patches. I also updated d2x CIOS to see if that would help. I tried using IOSPatcher but it errorred and wouldn't load the .iso.

    Any suggestions?

Extract this file to your sd card, turn the wii on and go to the hbc, run mmm and select wad manager, install the 2 wads then return to system menu. Delete the extracted files from your sd card then return to the wii and try to play

    Thanks so much.

Tried it, still got black screen. Do I need to change the IOS for the game or any other settings? It is currently set to IOS249.
