You could just do the cIOS pack, but after looking at your syscheck I think you would probably run into more issues. Your choice honestly. We could sit here all night doing this that and another thing, or you could just follow the guide and be done with it. That guide will get 99.999% of everything working just the way it should.

Also, since you said you already have priiloader, it is apparent that it has not been set up correctly, otherwise that system update that killed your softmod would not have happened. Make sure you enable the hacks that block system updates and disc updates.

Priiloader wasn't set up until after I did the system update lol

Okay.. so if I start at Chapter 2, I just have to download the Modpack and CIOS-PACK and install those wads like the guide says?

After that's done, do I just put my old data back onto my SD card and everything should be good to go?

Just follow the guide exactly as written from Chapter 2 on. You will not have any need to put any old data back onto your SD card, unless there is something specific that you are trying to save.

I sure am glad too. What a relief. And to think I threw out at least five burned games because I thought it was a problem with the discs themselves or the burning method I used  At least I have some Verbatim discs on the way!

Quick question though. Now, if I turn off my Wii and turn it on again, BootMii automatically loads for some reason. How do I fix that?

That is a good sign believe it or not . The simple fix would be to change the folder name on your SD card from bootmii to bootmii2 or something like that. You should probably back up your bootmii folder to a safe place on your computer first. That way you have a good copy if anything happens to your SD card.

Everythings backed up and good to go. I'll change that folder to BootMii2 and change the Priiloader settings to autoload HBC when the Wii is turned on. It's late though so I'll have to do that tomorrow.

Thanks again!! I really appreciated your help.

Just as an FYI, before you rename the folder it would probably be a good time to create another NAND backup with bootmii. That way if anything crazy happens at a later point you can restore your wii to the way you have it right now!
