Zumba goes to "black screen" after loading

I will start from the begining, I had a problem with Super Mario Bros. going to a "black screen" after trying to load and Donkey Kong freezing up after I lost a life in the 4th world. How I fixed the problem is I re-formatted my SD card and just installed the basics including Hemres IOS222, IOS223 and cIOS249. After that both games worked great.
Now I just installed the new Zumba game using Configurable USB Loader and when I play it off the hardrive it goes to a "black screen" after loading. I have to unplug the wii to get it to do anything. The game loads and plays the music but when it gets to the screen with the speaker on it and asks you to press "A" then the screen goes black.
Anyone know what is going on? Thanks in advance.
I just downloaded Spongebob Squarepants and tried to play it. It loaded and got to the main screen on the game and froze. When I held the power button on the remote it went to a black screen but wouldn't shut off the Wii.
BTW, If I stick the game in my Mother in Laws unmodded wii it ask u to update the wii before playing the game and also does the same thing in my wii if you just try to play the game using the disk

I have the same problem but it is original disk with d2pro also softmod for HBC. The game picks up in disk channel, go to play but black screen and I have to hold power button to resart the wii.

Same problem... anyone got some ideas?

I think I'll start posting what I've tried (can only try so much, I'm a newb, and, the wii on the main tv, which is currently occupied by my 2 year old, and Barney -.- )

    Using Wiiflow;

    TRIED:
    1) Start with 249 base 56, opened with 250/57 -NOT working
    2) Tried forcing the following settings: NOT working
    .....a) Graphics: NTSC
    .....b) Language: English
    3) base 37 doesn't work

EDIT: For ease of keeping everything in one spot, until the problem is solved.. if someone else tries something, I will add it to this post

EDIT2: Obvious point missed.. while in irc, I realized, situations are often very different.. someone said that they are using cios rev19, plain vanilla setup, and it works perfectly fine...

    I'm using a Red wii, sysmenu 4.3/u
    Cios rev 20
    loading miiflow with 249/56

FYI, this game works on my softmodded wii with sysmenu 4.3/u.
Using wiiflow 224, no change of default settings.

What's the 'easy' way to install rev 17?

Download rev 17 installer and launch it from the homebrew channel like any other app
