New Super Mario All Stars for the Wii issues
So i purchased the new Super Mario All Stars today and came home to put on my Hard Drive like usual. I am using the USB Loader to do this. For some reason when I go to install it is telling me there is only 3 MB of data on the disk. So after install I go to play and it just gets a black screen. I'm sure the full game isn't loaded b/c no game is only 3MB. Any help on how to get this to work?
this game is causing me problems too, when trying to play original version it wont load and seems to be sensing my hdd. anybody else having this problem or know of a work around.

The game should be 16M after scrub. My backup works good. I'm on 4.1U running cIOSx rev 20b with a base of 57. This game looks just like the snes version. You think they would of updated the graphix or something. What's a waste of $. I already have this game on my snes emulator. I'm not sure what IOS this game runs off, but if you find that out and update that IOS it might make your game load.

Ok I figured it out so that both games work for me from a USB backup.
First of all to make Super Mario All Stars work you need to follow these steps listed here, but here's the select part of what you need to do:
Fixing Black Screen/Booting Issue
Backup and Format your SD card
Extract directly to SD:\ (SD Root)
**Remove your USB HDD and all GameCube memory cards and controllers**
Load Multi-Mod Manager from HBC - Select Wad Manager -- Press A
Press 1 to install all wads - Press A
Verify an error free Install of All 4 wads - Press Home to Exit.
(MMM is set to load IOS249, if you don't have it then choose "Load another IOS" and select IOS36).
This will install Hermes cIOS with the recommended base IOS.
IOS222 Is installed as base IOS38.
IOS223 Is installed as IOS IOS37 Merged with IOS38
This will install Waninkoko cIOS with the recommended base IOS.
IOS249 Is installed as base 38 (cIOS38 Rev 17).
IOS250 Is installed as base 57 (cIOSx Rev 20).

Now to make Wii Sports Resort work with a USB Loader (I used CFG USB Loader) you have to set the "Alt Dol" setting to "player.dol" and then save and boot the game. This is necessary because Wii Sports Resort requires that you go through a tutorial video regarding the use of the Wii Motion Plus etc. This takes about 3 minutes and onces it's through your Wii will go back to the main system menu. After that just go to your USB Loader again, turn off the "Alt Dot" option or change it back to "main.dot" (depending on which loader you're using) just make sure it's no longer on "player.dol". Then save the settings and boot the game.
All of these instructions have worked flawlessly for me using CFG USB Loader on a 4.3u red Wii.
