Sonic Unleashed black screen (Neogamma)

First thing's first, I used mauifrog's guide to update all of my IOS's, so I doubt it's an IOS issue.

I've also got WiiPower's version of NeoGamma r8, if that helps. Also, other than SSBB having controller issues, I haven't experienced many problems with USB loading games.


I have IOS33 (which is required to make it work), but since I read on this forum that having a more updated version than the recommended one shouldn't affect the functionality, I updated to v3607 to try and fix it.

Any ideas? I don't want to update or downgrade anything unless I can be certain it won't cause negative consequences.

Just tried USB Loader GX with all four of the cIOS's it lets you try and no luck :(

maybe a bad rip or a bad burn.... or missing ios in the case of disk

You might be right, 'cuz I'm on my 4th loader, and I've even gotten Call of Duty to work by now :/

I guess one last cIOS attempt, then it's time to trash the ISO :(

try ripping it again after you reinstall the cIOS...

I feel so stupid, wasting all that time with different loaders and IOS's because of something so simple as a bad rip.
At least during that time I found out how to make 3 other games work ;)

stuck on the enrty screen to start the game after intro try to sellect button a but music runs on and on for ever and i try button a but no joy

Try and use NeoGamma r9 beta 56. It will pick the correct cIOS to load the game for you.

I am having the same problem with sonic unleashed. I tried to install the game onto my HDD, using the actual disc itself to make a backup, and it stays at the black screen. It also shows up as an 8.03GB file... which cannot be correct.
